What -- did you think Season 1 talent fromThe Face just dropped off the earth? No way! Most of the models, coaches, and photographer Nigel Barker have been hustling ever since. Flip through photos of The Face talent out on the streets, on the Red Carpets, and meeting their fans. And okay, we couldn't help ourselves and included a couple of throwback gems. Enjoy, and stay tuned for info about the Season 2 Premiere!
Admit it. You've been dying to do the winged-eyeliner thing that Coco Rocha rocked all season of The Face AND you miss Fan Favorite, Brittany, too, right? Well, you'll be doubly pleased to watch this very informative tutorial showing you how to do a cat-eye of your own. You're welcome. (Hiiiii Brittany!)
Team Coco members Stephanie (still on the show) and Brittany (no longer on the show) have been duking it out for top Fan Favorite since we started and this week, there's something new: It's a tie! While Stephanie stayed steady at 25% from last week until today, Brittany fell two percentage points—but that still puts both at number one. Click through to see a couple other interesting developments.
So far the Model Match-ups have been about fashion and posing, next up: The makeup application. It's much more intense than you think, just see how Brittany and Marlee compare in applying that dramatic Smoky Eye (and in less than five minutes.) Not easy, folks! And hey, this is a good excuse to see Team Coco's Brittany and Marlee again, plus get a beauty trend tutorial.
The winner will be crowned Tuesday, March 19 at 2PM EST. So vote now!
Already have plans this Saturday? Cancel them. Don't have plans? Now you do, because we're airing a mini-marathon of "The Face" from 8am to 12pm this Sat., Mar. 9. This is your chance to get caught up on the first four episodes if you're behind or re-watch the drama just because. Need more convincing? Here are five reasons you can't argue with:
Brittany and Stephanie are still duking it out for the number one spot, well, online anyway. Even though she was cut in last week's episode, Brittany is the winner of this week's Fan Favorite Model Ranker with 25% (rising three points from 22% last week), while Stephanie (who's still on the show) fell from 25% to 22% this week. There are some other interesting observations, too, so check it out, after the jump!
Okay, guys. The girls have gotten goofy in the photo booth aided by props (the beloved Connect Four is our fave so far) and hair (both faux and real). Now it's time to go minimal, as the ladies of "The Face" make the dorkiest faces they can for the camera—and still look drop dead gorgeous.
Welcome back to the third episode of "The Face"! This week's episode is called "Falling From Grace," which sounds to me like the remaining model hopefuls will be falling headfirst down a flight of steps. AKA Amazing television. But thanks to Jennifer Lawrence at the Oscars this Sunday, falling on stairs is no longer something to be ashamed of. We've come so far as a nation.
In episode three, it came down to Ebony from Team Karolina and Brittany from Team Coco. Coach Coco had to send Brittany to the elimination room because, well, the client just couldn't remember her. Ironic, since she had actually modeled for Kleinfeld's before. While Coco didn't dissolve into tears this time, Brittany can count herself as the first contestant to cry in an exit interview. Sad.
We don't know what's harder: Saying goodbye to a contestant who gets eliminated (most recently by Naomi times two) or when a model makes a tough decision and exits on her own. Marlee was in a tough spot and, as coach Coco says, we're proud of her for putting her family first. But there's a happy ending, as Marlee is preggers with her second!
